My four year old niece is a curious kid. But one thing that sets her apart from the kids of her age is her patience to observe things first and then try them later.
These days she is improving her telephone skills. But as she still cannot dial numbers properly, most of the times she either presses a number more or a number less. As a result every time she dials a wrong number, she hears a lady's recorded voice which tells her that the dialed number is unavailable and she has to check the dialed number.
We elders take such kiddy endeavours as a child play and give them only cursory attention.
But one day while I was busy doing some work and my niece equally busy with the telephone; I was surprised when I heard her reacting sharply to the lady’s recorded voice. She was saying,” If the number I’ve dialed is wrong, tell me the correct number”. And every time the recorded voice repeated the message she(my niece) demanded for the correct number.
Kids are just like that-- Godly.
